Nutritional Labeling Information

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) implemented mandatory retail labeling regulation in order to provide consumers with nutritional information on single ingredient, raw meats. The two-part regulation applies to both ground and whole muscle proteins, including beef, pork, chicken, turkey and lamb. National Beef® shares the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s (NCBA) opinion that this allows further market one of the most nutrient packed proteins available.

For a complete list of nutritional information, cooking recommendations and primal source, view National Beef's Retail Beef Cuts Poster.
